Chapter -1

Third person POV :-

Golden hues of sunlight is falling above the thin frame of a boy Sleeping peacefully in his bedroom the only safe sanctuary in the world for him as no one wants to come in his bedroom because his brothers either doesn't care enough or don't want to ruin their day because of him ,

Suddenly a voice shouted from the front of his room " Ashvik Wake up you don't want to get punishment first thing first in the morning now do you " The head maid , A women in late 50s Mrs Hernald .

The boy jerked up from his Sleep

Afraid to sleep even a second more because of his brothers, he rushed towards the attached bathroom to do his morning routine as he has to catch bus for which he have to walk 20 minutes from house to Bus stop and he has learnt the hard way that no one is gonna take him till there no matter how sick he is he is all alone in his matters but if he dares to skip school or arrive late than "they" won't let it slide it will end up with him being badly injured.

After 20 mins - he came out all refreshed and head towards downstairs to pack his own lunch as the maids are instructed to not do his work by his second older brother as a punishment.

He stopped in the staircase just watching his two older brothers pampering His Ansh bhai as he is the most fragile and best thing that happened to them, he looked Armaan feeding him bites of food while ansh is sitting on Abhimanyu 's lap he quickly looked away as only looking at them hurt him physically

His stomach growled as he has skipped dinner because he was busy completing his assignments but no one cares if he had or not they never does and he is not allowed to have breakfast with them as they don't want disturbence during morning as they consider him as a bad omen already they never care if he has eaten or not or so he thought as

, unknown to him a traitrous tear roll down his cheek n

which he quickly wiped with back of his hand . Before he could spiral more a voice rough and mean brought him back to his senses of what he was doing " Aww see our prince charming finally decided to grace us all with his presence how great" said ansh in a mocking way to Ashvik, "I am sorry Bhai I was completing the assignment till late so I couldn't sleep early" said ansh bowing his head down not looking at any of them .

"Offcourse you would why will you do these things early right teachers are idiots to give such things prior when you have to do it end minute only , you are the only smart person right" said Armaan taunting him very well knowing how he is always busy with work, not knowing that his younger brother was completing his bullies work waking up all night or else he won't get a moment of peace there too ,

Then there is Abhimanyu not saying anything just watching and that's worse , watching carefully this thin boy wearing clothes sizes big for his frame with bags under his eyes by not sleeping all night wondering if that's how a normal 15 years look but as fast this thought came it vanished because he was not any other 15 years old he was the killer of his mother,

"Enough Ashvik you don't want to be late right so leave but after coming back come to my home office for discussion of your conduct it's inappropriate for a Goenka" Said Armaan

Jii bhaiya " said Ashvik not looking at anyone, he rushed to the kitchen to make lunch for him as no one would do it for him , he took out 4 pcs of bread and applied some peanut butter in it and wrapped two sandwiches for himself and rushed to Bus stop hopefully that he won't be late to school or consequences will not be so glorious for him . He reached bus stop in just time a smile came across his face regardless of the sweat dripping from his forehead because of run he made to Bus stop. After 2 minutes the bus came and he hopped on the bus ,he sat on back he always do it doesn't attract unnecessary attention no one asks questions that way then he put on his earphones to block his thoughts along with with the outside noise some old classics playing in the background as he rested his head in the front seat because of exhaustion,not only physical but mental too .

He reached his school and rushed to his classroom as he don't want to be late for his first class but someone shoved him hard into the lockers making him stumble and falling on his butt he looked up seeing his brother and his minions Rahul , Tanay and Varun , he gave them the assignment, Varun snatched the assignment of all 4 and scanned the copies,he said " woah impressive really you worked very hard boy " he said and kicked Ashvik as he was trying to stand , Ashvik looked down and asked in a voice barely a whisper "what do you guys want ,I already did your assignment and bought with me " Ronnie replied " what we want ? Huh we don't need a reason to hurt you a leech like you belong there, below us we can do whatever we want" then he added while grinning "right Ansh " Offcourse buddy, he replied then they all started kicking and punching Ashvik like some Animal " please bhai ...ahh..ahh. ... It hurts bhaiya please stop them naa . Ahhhhhh...bhai " stop saying me bhai I am not your brother and you deserve it you deserve worst, by saying this he left as someone was coming and they don't want to disturb their picture infront of school.

Very slowly and painfully Ashvik stood up holding his ribs as he got hit there , he went to washroom and washed his face then went to class because he cannot afford to skip the classes because his brothers would definitely know if he do , "May I come in sir" Ashvik asked the history teacher,an old man probably 40 years old who looks like he has seen the world, with kind eyes that scan people like they are an open book he looked up scanned the boy , he was concerned for the boy as mostly all the teachers adored him for his brilliant academic life and polite nature he asked " what happened my child you look disheveled"," nothing sir I fell " Ashvik said with a polite small as if assuring the man infront of him but it seems like he doesn't believe him but let go of the topic and instructed him to sit back

And Start his work .

Time skip to Lunch

Ashvik went to the cafeteria alone as no one liked a problematic person like him they all called him "the problematic nerd " as he often get bullied by the supposingly good boys of school, he sat at the very end of cafeteria trying to blend in with everyone,he ducked his head low to not get noticed but seems like the luck was not with him as they immediately saw him and started walking towards him , his heartbeat was racing knowing very well what could happen but before he could react all 4 like was infront of him predators sensing their prey , Tanay was the one to break the silence he said " Look.Look.Look who it could be our favourite nerd the great Ashvik the topper but but wait don't you think this pathetic excuse of lunch is not enough for your big brain because I think" then he snatched his lunch and threw at Ronnie who catches it and dumps all the content on floor infront of whole cafeteria. Before they could do or say anything Ashvik left the place with all his strength he ran to the terrace to find refugee from their cruelty.

After Lunch break he went back to his class , it was physics a class he doesn't like at all and this was well known as his grades were not perfect in physics not bad but enough to get punishment he scores an average of 90-94 % in physics but for his brothers it was like a crime against humanity. The teacher Mr. Hopkins cleared his throat and started" Good Afternoon kids as we all know you all have given the Mid Term test a few days ago and as I have checked the papers you all will get your results today itself as I have already sent a digital copy to your guardian "

Ashvik felt like someone has taken his breath away because he knew what it meant for him but he possibly can't do anything now except accepting the reality, the whole class he cannot concentrate in class thinking about the punishment he is going to receive in the house afterwards at last Mr.Hopkins

Announced "As you all have noticed that the test was difficult this time so many of you have not scored great Now I am going to take name of three students they should stand up okay

First Ashvik Goenka, Preeti rathore and Gopal Singh

Ashvik come ... So Ashvik you have Topped the class as always but your results is not the best of your own so I hope you would check your mistake okay I expect more from you you scored 89.4% now go sit , both of you come to principal office with me now "

After saying this he was scolding the left students but for Ashvik it was like the word has stopped after hearing the scores but he couldn't do anything now could he ? He was just hoping that he will survive the punishment tonight as 89% was unacceptable from him and they won't let this thing go .
